　　My view on honesty

　　Honesty is long-lasting virtue of people all over the world. Likewise, it is also one of the deeply-held values of the Chinese people. Some people believe that in the market economy, honesty tends to be obsolete. In my opinion, honesty will never be out of date no matter what the situation might be.

　　Firstly, honesty has been treasured and honest people have been respected through history in all parts of the world. People everywhere would regarded honesty as a virtue and hate a dishonesty person. Secondly, honesty is the basis of interactions among people. People should treat each other sincerely and open their hearts to each other. Only in this way can the relationship among the people be natural. Thirdly, in the market economy, some people try to get more money at the cost of honesty. To them, a best businessman is one who can cheat most tactfully. Even in this kind of society, honesty is deeply valued by most people.

　　We can see that not only in history, but also at the present day, honesty was and is valued by the majority of the people and the virtue will not perish so easily.

　　诚实是美德的持久全世界的人们。同样,它是一种deeply-held价值观的中国人民。有些人认为在市场经济条件下,诚实往往是过时了。在我看来,诚实永远不会过时,无论在什么样的情况下可能会。

　　首先,诚实正直的人被珍惜和尊重历史已经通过在世界的各个角落。世界各地的人都将被以诚实守信为美德和恨一个不诚实的人。其次,诚实的基础是人们之间相互作用。人们应该以诚相待,互相敞开心扉。只有这样,我们才能的人之间的关系是自然的。第三,在市场经济条件下,有些人努力为了得到更多的钱为代价的诚实。对他们而言,最好是一个可以骗商人最婉转。即使在这样一个社会:诚实是深深被大多数人使用。

　　There is an English proverb which says (saying) Honesty is the best policy. It signifies the importance of honesty.

　　What are the benefits of honesty? If you are honest to others, they will be honest to you in return. When you are sad, they will comfort you. When you are in trouble, they will help you.

　　There is no enumerating the evils of dishonesty here. In a word, a dishonest man will be looked down upon by others and (be) regarded as a public enemy.

　　It is true that most of us value honesty highly。 However， nowadays we often confront confidence crisis such as cheating， overcharging， fake modities and so on。 I think that we should be honest because being honest is not only beneficial to ourselves but also to others and the whole society。 The reasons can be listed as follows。Firstly， only honest people can be truly respected by the others and can make more friends over a long period of time。

　　Secondly， honesty， which is the traditional virtue of the Chinese people， can make our life easier and more harmonious。 Thirdly， honesty can make our society more stable。 A case in point is that Singapore， a society featuring trustworthiness and integrity， has a paratively low criminal rate。

　　Responsbility can be understood in many ways。 for the parents ， they have had the responsibility for caring for and fostering their children since the birth of their baby。for teachers，both in kindergartens and colleges，they also should be responsible for the study and life of their students，that is to say，teahers are the second parents of children somewhile。

　　for us，as a friend of others，it is our responsibility to help our friends when they are in trouble or faced with difficulties。 each one has the different responsibily based on their roles but we must take it for granted that we are responsible for the society。

　　Almost all of us heard the story Here Comes the Wolf when we were little kids。 What we can learn from the story is that we must be honest。 However， therere lots of phenomena of dishonesty nowadays。

　　Being dishonest does great harm not only to other people but also to yourself。 Take the case of fake milk powder for example。 After drinking this kind of milk， the babies had big heads while their legs and arms were still thin， which badly affected their health。 To our great relief， the producers got accused and punished for all the serious consequences in the end。

　　Having the reputation of being honest and reliable will make other people trust you， which will provide you many benefits and give you opportunities that others may not get。 Being honest， you will find it easier to cooperate with others and people will be friendly to you and support you。 In a sense， if life is a long journey， honesty will be the backpack that should be taken along all the way。 Lets pick up our backpackhonesty， and start the wonderful journey!
