　　12月20日，国家语言资源监测与研究中心、商务印书馆、央视新闻等单位联合举办的汉语盘点2018揭晓仪式在北京举行。

　　Striving and the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up have been respectively chosen as the Chinese Character and Word of the Year 2018 in China. 奋改革开放四十年分别当选年度国内字、国内词。

　　The survey also chose exit and trade friction as the International Chinese Character and Word of the Year respectively for 2018. 退贸易摩擦分别当选年度国际字、国际词。
